#SundayFunday, MAGIC!
It’s been almost two years since the earworm that is MAGIC’s Rude became one of the catchiest songs of the decade and now the Canadian band is back with another pop culture offering. Doing their best Office Space impression, the guys in MAGIC! still love the reggae beats and are still terrible son in laws in their new video for #SundayFunday. The new track may not resonate with fans like Rude, but dare we say that what it’s lacking in catchiness it makes up for in likeability?
Wake Up, The Vamps
If One Direction, Imagine Dragons and 5 Seconds of Summer formed a super group, it would look and sound ike The Vamps. The British foursome have just released their uplifting anthem Wake Up and have a colourful and inspiring video to go with it. The new video also marks the acting debut of the genetically gifted Brooklyn Beckham, who has his famous parents Victoria and David Beckham to thank for his scene-stealing looks.
Cannonball, Skylar Grey feat. X Ambassadors
Skylar Grey teamed up with X Ambassadors for her latest single Cannonball, an emotional and inspiring track certain to lift the spirits of players who hear the song when it appears on FIFA 16. The video features non soccer-related feats of strength, with Grey getting bloodied in a bare knuckle fight and a knight taking on a police officer. There’s a whole lot of symbolism going on in the stylistically pleasing video and it’s definitely worth the watch…and the listen.
Unsteady, X Ambassadors
In addition to their duet with Skylar Grey, alt rockers X Ambassadors have also just released their take on substance abuse with Unsteady. The compelling video is a side by side look at the beginning and likely end of a relationship and how alcohol abuse can affect the lives of everyone it touches. The New York band released their debut album this past summer and we’re looking forward to even more visually stunning music videos.
Confident, Demi Lovato
Okay, okay, we know this isn’t actually Demi Lovato’s new music video for Confident. We have to wait until Friday to see the entire thing. But talk about a good tease, amirite?
